The National Museum of Computing

We rely solely on your financial donations to run the museum. Please help this important project!

Donations from the United States

We need funds to secure the future of the museum and to provide continued free public access. The museum does not receive national funding, so your help is needed.

There are many ways you can help:

Donations through PayPal. This is a simple method of making a one off donation using your credit card. For more information, please click on the 'PayPal' button along side. The PayPal page is linked to our charitable name - CodesAndCiphersHeritageTrust.

Donors who give $250 or more to the charity will receive a founder sponsor medal as a token of our gratitude and as a reminder that the donor was one of those that ensured the future of the museum.

Founder Sponsor Medal.
The medal is 2" in diameter and 1/4" thick with the text and logo in raised metal and subsequently enamelled. The medal is presented in an attractive gift box. Such is the demand for the medals, we do need to ask you to allow two weeks for delivery.

Donating stocks and shares can be a particulary tax efficient method of giving. We can advise on the procedures needed to do this.

Should you wish to make a larger donation, we are happy to discuss the most tax efficient means of doing this. We can also advise US givers on donations conforming to the IRS 501(c)(3) code. For more information see below.

Tax relief for US Donors under 501(c)(3)

Codes and Ciphers Heritage Trust has arranged US tax relief with two American organisations, Charities Aid Foundation America - CAF, and The American Fund for Charities - AFC.
Donors may use either or both of these.
CAF's web site is www.cafamerica.org and the donation forms can be downloaded from there.
AFC can be contacted via www.chapel-york.com  or info@chapel-york.com
